Matt Haley was a man who appeared in O kela me keia manawa (episode) and also the man responsible for putting a hit out on Jack Mitchell AKA Jack Anderson due to the fact that Mitchell had been involved in an car accident in 1994 that had claimed the life of Matt's newly wed wife, Jessica at the time.
Consumed by revenge, Haley spent the next twenty years, searching for Mitchell, determined to avenge his dead wife.
