Mick Logan is a private investigator whom Steve McGarrett hires in Kekoa to keep an eye on his mother, Doris McGarrett. However, Mick takes a liking to Doris and asks her out, which she accepts. Doris later tells Steve to just ask her what she was doing instead of hiring a private investigator. In Na Ki’i it is hinted that Doris and Mick are in a relationship.
In He Welo 'oihana he helps Doris get back a microfiche with information about her CIA days that was stolen by Tyler Caine.
