- Courtney Ford who plays Suzy Green is the stepsister of Roberto Orci and J. R. Orci, both of whom are writers and producers for Hawaii Five-0 producers although J.R. Orci left H50 in 2011.
- Ford originally appeared in fellow CBS crime drama, NCIS in the Season 7 episode, "Patriot Down" where she played Petty Officer Second Class Kaylen Burrows who was later revealed to have been a victim of rape.
