Ua 'eha ka 'ili i ka maka o ka ihe (The Skin Has Been Hurt by the Point of the Spear) is the 1st episode of Season 10 in the remake version of Hawaii Five-0.

Synopsis[]

A new ally helps McGarrett and Five-0 when mob bosses on the island are being targeted by an assassin. Also, Five-0 says goodbye to one of their own, and hello to the lively Quinn.

Plot[]

In the Five-0 offices, Lou kills Omar Hassan's wife Azra, who just shot Jerry. Recovering at a hospital, Jerry considers moving on to other things and leaves the team later.

While off duty, Junior and Tani witness a murder-for-hire hit on a Chinese triad leader, but the hit-man escapes.

The team keeps finding out military police officer Quinn Liu on their path, also looking for the suspect, reason classified even for Steve. The team tracks a stolen car to a warehouse, but the hit-man avoids arrest by suicide. Adam meets with Yakuza leaders to figure out who is behind the hits, but the hit-man's sharpshooter accomplice attempts to kill Masuda, one of the leaders. Afterwards, Steve asks Quinn to pursue the case further, after no charges are pressed due to lack of evidence.

An unknown figure is seen putting a small explosive in Steve's tool box from his late father.

  • The first meeting between Steve and Danny was indirectly mentioned when they pulled Quinn over.
  • At the end of this episode, Jerry Ortega announced that he was stepping down as the special consultant following being shot at the end of last season.
