Yao Fat (Simplified Chinese: 姚发/Traditional Chinese: 姚發, Yáo Fā) is the father of the late Wo Fat and the husband of Lei Kuan Fat.

While Wo Fat is holding Steve McGarrett captive, he demands to know the location of his father.
Season 6[]
The United States Military takes Steve McGarrett across the globe to Morocco under strict supervision, and to his secret location. However, Steve figures out where he is, based on hours spent on a plane, hearing the call to prayer, and being familiar with the language.
While there, Wo Fat's father asks Steve for his forgiveness for what his son put him through.
Season 7[]
Yao Fat is broken out of the CIA Black Site by Doris McGarrett, Steve McGarrett, and the rest of the Five-0 Task Force.
